The new manager J asked me If I would  write a June blog, so here I am back in some capacity at 1722!  Speaking of back...That is why none of you have seen me at 17 since Feb 21, 2009. I had major back surgery was in recovery doing better, but had a bad experience and now need more surgery. I have truly learned one thing thru all this pain, more pain...people I thought were true friends have turned out to be bar/club acquaintances, I even had one ask me what the urgency was for him to visit after 90 days of me being alone. Oh well! I have learned a valuable lesson you can probably count on one hand, as I can, the number of true friends you have in life. And those friends are worth holding onto til you die. Enough about me...here is the scoop on 1722 June events.

SATURDAY JUNE 20th: PRIDE 2009 with DJ MIKE DENOE:
The same DJ who played my last night at 1722 has now agreed to play PRIDE at 1722. And wait til you see the decorations! The manager J and I were in south beach two years ago at a DANNY T party at SCORE and fell in love with the decorations. So J contacted RKM FUTURE BOYS and ordered some awesome stuff for your viewing pleasure! To all the straight people who wonder what pride is it’s when the people who set the party scale for all the big circuit parties come out and celebrate who we truly are. You will enjoy the event, the morning the music and the decor!

JUNE 27th: OBSESSION PARTY with DJ LENI K!
Karl and Primo bring you a more upscaled version of 17 on the last Saturday of this month, please remember to  DRESS TO IMPRESS....Flip flops are for tacky Ocean City not a dance club....who wants to see your toes anyway!

1722 has a new smoking area OUT BACK.... The government does not want you smoking in cubs, so the police are making it harder and do not want patrons standing out front, so everyone who smokes...please use the back door!
